**Eligible members retiring at age 60–64 are eligible for the “65+” benefits when they turn 65 and enroll in Medicare. Eligible members retiring at age 55–59 are only eligible for the Prescription Plan when they turn 65 and enroll in Medicare.
Eligibility
Age 62.5 with 25 Years of Service*
If you retire at age 62.5 with at least 25 years of credited service and/or vesting service, you are eligible for coverage that includes hospital, medical, vision, hearing, prescription drugs, life insurance, burial and spouse coverage.
*If you were born before July 1, 1959, you can collect a full pension at 62 with 20 years of credited service and/or vesting service.
